Mining risk disclosure
Bitcoin mining outcomes are probabilistic and operationally demanding.
No accumulated progress
Each hash is an independent attempt. Best-share difficulty divided by network difficulty is not accumulated progress and does not increase the probability of the next hash.
No guaranteed reward
Hashrate, accepted shares, uptime and historical results do not guarantee that a future block will be found. Electricity, equipment, connectivity and regulatory costs remain with the miner.
Protocol and network risk
Bitcoin reorganizations, rejected candidates, software defects, connectivity failures and fee conditions can affect operations. Coinbase outputs require 100 confirmations before maturity.
